SU and UNC Joint Alumni Reception
Dozens of D.C.-area Syracuse University alumni joined their Tar Heel counterparts on Wednesday, October 21, for a joint reception with the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill ahead of the Orange’s football matchup with UNC.

SUDC Remembrance Week
On Tuesday, October 20, the Syracuse University Washington, DC Center hosted an Evening of Remembrance during Remembrance Week to honor the lives lost in the December 21, 1988, bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland. Former Remembrance Scholars and friends of the victims gathered to commemorate the 270 people killed in the tragedy, including 35 students returning from Syracuse University abroad programs.

Hundreds of D.C.-metro area alumni got together to watch a Washington Nationals game for SU Day at the Nationals Park--and Otto had a great time exploring the park and meeting some fellow mascots. Check out the photos below!

Wine Appreciation Night at SU DC Center
Nearly 100 alumni filled our SUDC Center rooftop for a recreation of the iconic Wine Appreciation Course offered on campus each year. The educational lecture, led by faculty member Torrey Grant, featured lessons on wines from around the world. Here are some snapshots of the event!
